Enterprise security teams face a mounting challenge as AI adoption spreads: identifying where AI traffic moves through networks and separating legitimate use from potential threats. DrayTek is tackling this problem through a partnership with Enea, which will integrate the company’s application intelligence and threat detection capabilities into DrayTek’s next-generation security platforms.
Enea’s Qosmos ixEngine will analyze network traffic to identify applications, services, and protocols, including various AI traffic types. The collaboration also includes deploying Enea’s Qosmos Threat Detection SDK to identify malicious activity within network data. As AI applications expand across enterprise environments, attackers are simultaneously using AI to accelerate cyber threats, creating urgency for better network visibility. Enea’s CTO Osvaldo Aldao noted that this integration will help DrayTek detect diverse AI traffic types and respond faster to emerging threats. DrayTek serves businesses and service providers globally, while Enea works with over 300 customers across 100 countries.
